Grace

Coherence entering fracture to restore proportion

Definition. Grace is restorative coherence entering distortion where resistance has loosened and local effort cannot by itself complete the return to proportion.

Grace is not reward

Grace is not favour granted to a spiritually preferred person. It is not proof of rank, virtue or special election. It names the restorative relation by which a trapped local pattern may become open to a wider coherence.

Grace does not romanticise pain

Pain is not made sacred merely because repair later becomes possible. Harm, protection, bodily safety, truthful relationship and consequence remain real. Grace supports restoration; it does not require that injury be accepted, repeated or spiritually excused.

Grace and human action

Grace does not replace choice or practical response. The human may still need to speak, leave, repair, seek care, establish a boundary or accept consequence. Grace restores proportion where force would continue the struggle or where effort has reached its lawful limit.
