Coherence

Proportion restored across relationship

Definition. Coherence is the condition in which differentiated parts remain proportionately related, allowing signal, meaning and response to move without being dominated by contradiction or distortion.

Not uniformity

Coherence does not require every person, layer or living form to become the same. Differentiation remains. What changes is the quality of relationship: parts no longer have to oppose, conceal or overpower one another in order to remain present.

Not spiritual rank

A coherent response is not proof of superior identity or permanent attainment. Coherence may be local, temporary and domain-specific. A human may respond proportionately in one field while remaining conditioned in another.

Readable through consequence

The Codex tests coherence through relation and consequence. Does the structure preserve sovereignty? Does it reduce compulsive return? Can evidence and uncertainty remain visible? Does the response restore proportion without romanticising pain or demanding belief?
