What this book offers
- A lived human account of completing an Oversoul contract through ordinary life, not spiritual attainment.
- An exploration of coherence achieved by subtraction — the release of identity, striving, and correction.
- Reflections on work, relationship, loss, and waiting as shaping forces rather than obstacles.
- A record of how life resolves when seeking ends and Presence remains.
- A mirror for readers sensing that nothing more needs to be added — only allowed.

About the author
David Ronald Nethercott
Contract of Light is not a teaching and not a guide. It is a lived record.
David’s life did not resolve through improvement, insight, or mastery, but through the gradual removal of what no longer belonged. Seeking fell away. Identity softened. What remained was coherence.
This book traces that resolution across work, relationship, failure, waiting, and silence. It offers no methods and makes no claims. It simply records what a human life looks like when an Oversoul contract completes itself without achievement.
David writes as witness, not authority. The story is offered without instruction, in the hope that readers may recognise their own life already unfolding correctly.

This life did not resolve by becoming better.
It resolved by becoming smaller.
What fell away was not pain, but the belief that pain required explanation. What dissolved was not effort, but the assumption that effort was needed. Over time, the shape of the life narrowed until nothing extraneous remained.
There was no arrival. There was a quiet recognition that nothing had been missing.
Work continued. Relationships continued. Loss still occurred. But the life no longer required interpretation. It moved when it moved, rested when it rested, and corrected itself without instruction.
This book records that narrowing — not as a path to follow, but as something already underway.

The Presence Series
The Presence Series traces how coherence is recognised, lived, and completed — across understanding, lineage, practice, planetary participation, and lived resolution.
The series opens with Light, Oversoul, and Grace, establishing the architectural language of Presence. Ancestral Patterns in the All-Now turns that lens toward lineage, inheritance, and time. The Bridge and the Tree grounds insight through embodied practice and daily relationship with life. Gaia and the Order of Life extends coherence into planetary order, earth memory, and cosmologic design.
Contract of Light records the completion of that arc — a human life resolving itself without instruction, attainment, or correction.
Light of the Child carries the work forward into developmental continuity, learning, and the protection of coherence at the beginning of life.
Forthcoming volumes include The Living Laws, articulating harmonic structure and post-hierarchical order, and Grace Returns to Silence, completing the octave through integration and return to stillness.
Each book stands alone. Together, they form a complete movement — from recognition to integration, and from integration to quiet completion.
